SPADE® Oklahoma Index
(Index NYSE-AMEX: OKLAH     Licensed Exchange Traded Fund / NYSEarca: OOK )

About the Market
Oklahoma is known as one of the most business-friendly states, due in part to low tax rates. With an economy based largely on energy but with growing interests in other sectors, from 2000 to 2008, Oklahoma's gross domestic product according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis increased 63% and its per capita GDP is growing at one of the highest rates in the United States. In addition, 3 Oklahoma-based firms made Fortune magazine's 2008 list of the 25 fastest growing companies in the U.S. and 6 made the Fortune 500.

In October 2009, CNN/Money named Oklahoma City as the #1 place to launch a business calling it, "Stable and affordable, Oklahoma City is a have for entrepreneurial risk takers...[with a] diverse local economy spread across medical research, energy, education, and government."
