SPADE Oklahoma Index Performance
The SPADE Oklahoma Index (Ticker Symbol: OKLAH) began publication over the Consolidated Tape on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 and its value is published daily every 15 seconds between approximately 9:30 AM and 4:15 PM.
Historical Data
Data prior to this date was calculated via a "blind back test"© methodology performed by the American Stock Exchange using data provided by ISBC/SPADE Indexes. A "blind back test" is designed to ensure that no bias or manipulation exists.
"Blind Back Test" Methodology"
Neither the universe of companies nor the methodology may be changed once submitted.
For the SPADE Oklahoma Index, and beginning with 1998, a universe of more than 100 public companies headquartered in the
state of Oklahoma was identified from government, regulators, and private sources as well as all mergers, acquisitions,
IPOs and bankruptcies that took place during that time. From this master list each company, on a quarter-by-quarter basis,
was evaluated to determine if they met the rules of the index (price, market cap, liquidity, and major exchange listed).
All companies that met the Index rules, regardless of performance, were then selected without bias. In addition, to
ensure that the historical data for the index was as accurate as possible, the New York Stock Exchange's AMEX Group served as the
calculation agent guaranteeing that the Index met the exchange's rules; and all constituent firms are public companies regulated by the SEC.
